Meet Gerd & Wanda Teetzen
Gerd Teetzen and his wife Wanda are the second generation of Teetzens to run the Quesnel Bakery, one of the oldest in town. Gerd's parents Horst and Christa Teetzen started the operation more than three decades ago, and the business has evolved with the times and trends over the decades.
The business makes a variety of fresh-baked-daily goods including breads, cakes, pies and pastries. Gerd and Wanda recently added a café section to their downtown location where guests can now enjoy fresh-from-scratch original-recipe artisan soups and specialty coffees in addition to the many delectable baked items for sale. The bakery has also added a number of different gluten-free baked products to their repertoire. Gerd and Wanda are proud to carry on the tradition that Gerd's parents began and look forward to continuing to feed locals.
