Meet Laura Mytting
Cariboo Therapeutic Massage Clinic owner Laura Mytting believes that treatment by a health care professional is much more effective when there is a relationship between client and care provider. And relationship building, says Laura, is easy and natural in a small town atmosphere where people are friendly and life isn’t hurried, She adds, “Every time I go for a walk down the street I see people that I know and can visit with, or if I don’t know them, they still smile and say hello!”
Laura bought the previously-established clinic in 2013 because, as a practicing RMT, she wanted the extra challenge of running her own massage therapy practice. She and her colleagues work hard to grow and improve it, and she gets a sense of satisfaction out of seeing that work pay off. She notes that she is privileged to work with her fellow RMTs who are devoted to their clients and the success of the business.
Besides its friendly people, Laura loves Quesnel because it offers an affordable cost of living with a rich lifestyle. Quesnel has much to offer, she points out, with many things to do for fun and enrichment. Laura herself enjoys swimming at the rec centre and walking the river walk.
Caring. Dependable. Empowering.
