Meet Brent & Susan Paulsen
Brent and Susan Paulsen were looking for a unique business idea that would be flexible enough to fit into their busy family life and so, seven years ago, the Paulsens launched Get Snapped! Photo Buttons. The business is truly a family affair and Brent & Susan try to incorporate and involve their children in it as much as possible. Susan said that her and Brent “wanted to give our children an education in the classroom of life,” , so you’ll frequently find the entire Paulsen family working on photo buttons together. Brent and Susan hope to instill an entrepreneurial, hard-working spirit in their children and perhaps even one day pass on the business to them.
The Paulsens love the casual pace of life in Quesnel. Having lived in other communities in BC, both larger and smaller, they say that Quesnel offers an ideal balance of community spirit, amenities and recreational opportunities. It’s a also a wonderful, quiet place to relax and spend time with friends. Susan notes the family often travels all over the province for business. “We are always on the go!” she adds. So when they have some rare free time they like to stay home, enjoy a family meal together or entertain friends. And though the Paulsens work in other communities throughout BC, they say that Quesnel is “home base” and the only place they want to live and serve their fellow community members.
Unique. Fun. Affordable.
Get Snapped! Photo Buttons owners Brent and Susan Paulsen can provide you with a unique way to preserve any and all of your special occasions. Capturing that perfect photo of your special occasion and creating a keepsake is what Brent and Susan love about their business. Their buttons, pins, magnets and keychains make wonderful favours for every event.
