A) You operate a business, non-profit or charity that sells retail goods and or provides services.

B) Your business is NOT a franchise, direct sales enterprise, distributorship or branded dealership.

C) Your business or organization is owned and operated in Northern British Columbia.

Aroma Foods Market & Deli began as a single location in West Quesnel nearly four decades ago by Serge and Rita Hrbinic. One year later they followed up with a South Quesnel store. The Hrbinic family is proud of its family-run, multi-store business. They are active in the local business community and have forged numerous relationships over the years and say that Quesnel is a warm, wonderful place to do business. The two stores carry a wide selection of groceries, fresh produce, in-store cut fresh meats and deli items, as well as many specialty and imported food products not readily available elsewhere.

Meet Omer Hrbinic

Omer Hrbinic now manages Aroma Foods Market & Deli’s two Quesnel locations, along with his family and a very loyal staff. The Hrbinics admit that small businesses in northern small towns face formidable obstacles, particularly when it comes to big box stores and Internet competitors. But they also believe that the personal touch is something that many small town residents want and gravitate to, and this is something they are passionate about offering to their local customers whom they so deeply appreciate. They also believe that no corporation or big box store has as much to contribute to the small town as small local businesses, and so they give back to community groups and events like the SPCA and youth sports in Quesnel.
