Attitude South Salon & Day Spa
Since it first opened in 2004, Attitude South Salon and Spa has expanded its menu of services as well as its facilities, particularly its spa. In addition to haircuts and colouring, Attitude South now boasts full spa services as well as aesthetics, including manicures and pedicures. Melissa Garcia is the new spa manager and she is thrilled to invite Quesnel residents to come and check out what the spa has to offer. Recent additions to the spa services include IPL Skin and Hair Removal Treatments, Nova Lash eyelash extensions, and Physiodermie skin care treatments in addition to gel nails, manicures, pedicures, massage and facials.
Attitude South Salon and Spa owner Janey Nelson is proud of how far the business has come in just under a decade. She points to her talented team of hairstylists and estheticians as having helped make the business successful. Not only are they dedicated to their profession, they are quick to get involved in local causes and fundraisers. Most of all, adds Janey, she is grateful for her customers, many of whom have been loyal clients since the very beginning.

Janey Nelson opened Attitude South Salon & Spa in 2004. The business began as chic salon with a tanning bed and a few spa products. But over the years the business grew and, thanks to the support of her loyal patrons, Janey was able to add a full range of spa services and products. Attitude South regulars have responded enthusiastically to the expansion, particularly brides-to-be who are now able to come in for a full head-to-toe pampering on their big day.
Janey is deeply appreciative of her staff of talented stylists and her new spa manager whose professional skills and positive work ethics have helped to make the business such a success. Janey is always quick to pay it forward and is a big supporter of local events and organizations, particularly those that work with children and youth.
