Penelope and Lawrence Curry are committed to the farming way of life, even as many Canadian farmers are turning in their tractor keys and leaving their fields for other professions. They are proving that farming is a sustainable lifestyle and contributes to the overall diversity and economy of the local community. EdgeWood Farm is well-known in the community, particularly for the beautiful fresh flowers they grow and sell. Visitors from here and abroad enjoy dropping into the farm's retail shop for a curated collection of gifts for home, body, and self and to buy fresh seasonable produce. Visit them in their vintage dairy barn for a unique shopping experience without having to leave town.

Penelope and Lawrence love the quiet, rural lifestyle in a beautiful town offset by gorgeous hills, pristine forests and rushing rivers. They appreciate the friendly, family feel that is so prevalent in Quesnel, noting that Quesnel is a wonderful place to do business.

Penelope and Lawrence are active in the community and have supported numerous local groups and events over the years, including Rotary Club, a variety of fund raisers, the Arts, the RCMP Gala and the Women's Resource Centre. The couple enjoys gardening both for fun and as a way of life and also like to travel when they're able to get away.
