A) You operate a business, non-profit or charity that sells retail goods and or provides services.

B) Your business is NOT a franchise, direct sales enterprise, distributorship or branded dealership.

C) Your business or organization is owned and operated in Northern British Columbia.

Little Owls Family Daycare is home away from home for children from infants to elementary-school age. Centrally located just minutes from downtown Quesnel, Little Owls Family Daycare provides individualized care in a family-oriented, socially and mentally stimulating environment. Children participate in circle reading time, arts and crafts, quiet time and regular outdoor time in the facility’s fenced backyard play area or local neighbourhood park. Little Owls Family Daycare offers a bright, open facility with access to plenty of toys, educational activities and art materials.

Meet Jessica Adamson

Jessica Adamson spent many of her growing up years living in cities and always felt like she was just one of a big crowd. For her, Quesnel has been a refreshing change from life in the city. "I like small places," says Jessica, who appreciates the quality of life that is available here in Quesnel, adding that its lower population "makes for a good community." As for things to do, there is no shortage here. "There are always wonderful events being put on for children and tons of things to do that people don't even realize," Jessica states.

Jessica has always wanted a career working with children. With children of her own and a spouse who often works out-of-town, opening a home daycare seemed like a perfect fit for Jessica's skills and lifestyle. "I love being able to work with and play with children all day. Building a relationship with the children in my care and their families is very important to me," says Jessica. She notes that there is a strong support system in Quesnel for child care providers, including a wonderful child care referral program.

Family time is the most important thing in Jessica's life, and outside of work she makes family activities a high priority. She also likes to spend time exercising and staying fit.
