Quesnel Septic Service
Quesnel Septic is committed to helping keep the Earth green through healthy waste water treatment and by educating customers about their use of water. “Living on Borrowed Water” is the company’s motto, a reminder that all of the water people use is really only “borrowed” from the Earth. Eventually it makes its way back to the Earth, and it’s everyone’s responsibility to ensure that it’s clean and safe for future generations to use.
Quesnel Septic provides a range of water-related services including septic service, installations, repairs and maintenance. It also provides site assessments and designs.

Meet Kim Pitcher & Ben Blacklaw
Kim Pitcher is proud to be a third-generation Quesnel resident and agrees that Quesnel is a wonderful place to raise a family. “We are a small community with people that care about one another,” she says. As part owner of Quesnel Septic, Kim takes care of much of the administrative and office-related work, while new business partner Ben Blacklaw does much of the labour and on-site work. Kim adds that she has an amazing staff of technicians who work hard at carrying out the field work and heavy-lifting so that Kim is able to focus on the administrative side of business and work around family life. Both Kim and Ben are passionate about educating consumers on water conservation practices and techniques and are proud that their business is making a difference in keeping the planet green and healthy.
While work keeps them busy, Kim tries to make a habit of taking time out for family leisure activities. Kim and Ben try to give back regularly through their business to the community and support a number of local charities and events, including the Quesnel Minor Hockey, the Quesnel Antique Machinery Park, Palliative Care, Quesnel Youth Soccer and Ladies Night at St. Ann's.
