Quesnel Youth Soccer Association
Although the Quesnel Youth Soccer Association was only officially incorporated in 1986, the game of soccer has been alive and well in Quesnel for over three decades. Started by a dedicated group of volunteers and soccer lovers, the Quesnel Youth Soccer Association continues to foster athleticism, spirit and friendly competition with locals from preschool age all the way to adults. Drop-ins are available with staff on site during regular hours, for all ages and activities. They offer facility and board room rentals for various activities, including birthday parties, sports, events and more!
Quesnel Youth Soccer Association’s mandate is to provide children and youth with a fun, safe, supportive environment where they can gain a strong sense of self-esteem and build personal development, teamwork and life skills and to support all players, coaches and referees and other volunteers who sustain the Association.

Meet Quesnel Youth Soccer Association
The Quesnel Youth Soccer Association is a not-for-profit sporting organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the sport of soccer in Quesnel. The Association itself is run completely by volunteers and governed by a board of directors. Everyone from the board to coaches to the parents of athletes play an important role in the maintenance of the association and the smooth running of games and leagues.
Quesnel’s love for soccer is readily evident: more than 24 percent of school children in the Quesnel School District are playing soccer within the QYSA. It’s also evident in the contributions that the Quesnel Youth Soccer Association has made to the community, like the building of the indoor soccer facility, a joint effort between the Quesnel Youth Soccer Association, community groups, local businesses, the City/Cariboo Regional District and private donors.
