A) You operate a business, non-profit or charity that sells retail goods and or provides services.

B) Your business is NOT a franchise, direct sales enterprise, distributorship or branded dealership.

C) Your business or organization is owned and operated in Northern British Columbia.

Reason 2 Run offers the recreational and competitive runner everything they need to succeed including all kinds of running shoes, gear, clothing and accessories. Owner Candace Miller offers Running Clinics throughout the year and is extremely knowledgeable about the sport of running, as well as professionally fitting shoes.

Also available are various brands of performance athletic and yoga wear as well as yoga mats and blocks.

Meet Candace Miller

"We all have a reason to run," says Candace Miller. For some, it's to lose weight. For some, it's to strive for a new fitness goal. For others, it's a way to be active and enjoy the outdoors. Candace says she wouldn't have believed when she started running 20 years ago how much it would change her life. Though she'd always played organized sports, running had never appealed to her. But after having a baby, it was a simple and inexpensive way to lose weight and get back in shape. The self satisfaction she got from running was more than she expected, and once she started she never stopped.

Knowing that everyone has their own reason for running was one of the things that motivated Candace to open Reason 2 Run. According to Candace, runners come in all shapes and sizes and all skill levels. It doesn't matter whether you're an "athlete." Anyone can run, and anyone can set goals for themselves and strive to reach those goals. Candace shares this message and her passion for running with anyone who will listen. Often it's the customers who come into her store, or the people who sign up for one of the store's running clinics.

Though Candace is relatively new to the local business scene, she is encouraged by what she has already seen. "If we can continue to work together I am very optimistic," she says.
